Join us as we explore the natural world on June 1st, National Trails Day and World Environment Day.  Our forage will begin at 11am and run until 12:30pm. Our guide will be Alyssa Actaea, a teacher of many parts. In addition to ongoing training in aspects of the natural world and leading groups on foraging hikes, she is an herbalist, mushroom fan, silversmith and mother. We include a short statement by Alyssa below the outlines her approach and philosophy. 

"I have personally hosted many educational walks in a variety of ecological environments but my familiarity and expertise primarily lies within Western New York and the Adirondack Mountain Region.
