“Volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they simply have the heart.” – Elizabeth Andrew

When you become a volunteer,

you become part of the CBP team that is committed to providing loving, quality care to animals in need, while also making the community a better place.

That care might be directly hands-on with the animals or working in the office, providing assistance with programs and making our events successful or lending your handy-person skills on specific projects.

No matter what your skill level or area of interest, your participation is key to CBP being able to successfully care for our historic farm and meet the needs for the numerous farm animals that need compassionate care and nurturing.

Consider joining our team!

When we see our youth volunteers pitching in and staying busy around the farm, we see a community of future leaders at CBP.

  • 13 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult whenever volunteering or training.

  • 14 years old or older must come with a parent or guardian for 20 hours or 60 days before working independently around the farm. (Evaluation will be required by farm staff or director)

We are excited and willing to work with an abundance of youth, whether individuals or groups, and believe there is no limit to the significant impact our youth can have at the farm and with our beloved animals.
