On June 29, 2015, the rain stopped and the sun came out long enough for 72 golfers to take to the links at the Sodus Bay Heights Golf Course, and golf through the afternoon . Some of the goats, including Kenny, visited to wish the golfers good luck. After a lovely afternoon, the golfers returned to the Clubhouse, and were joined by Cheri, Elaine, Willie, Barb DeRoo, Mary Novick, Janet Halasinski, and other non-golfing supporters for raffles, silent auction, dinner and prizes. Our Master of Ceremonies was Jack Garner, renowned film critic, one of whose duties was to award the prizes:

ANYONE can come in to Sparky’s Cans and Bottles at 6341 Ontario Center Road, just north of Route 104 by the railroad tracks, in Ontario and donate their cans and bottles to Cracker Box Palace. Just drop them off and let Sparky know it is a donation to the Farm. The more you donate, the more times Cracker Box Palace will be entered into Sparky’s monthly BONUS drawing for cans and bottles that were dropped off without money collected for them. The BONUS has been $20 to $98 so it is a great opportunity for the Farm to be in the running for this additional money each month. Sparky’s is open 10-5 Monday through Friday and 10-4 on Saturdays. Thanks to Sparky for offering this fundraising opportunity to us!
